In the month of March, team KnitOne took a rigorous approach to strengthen style, order, and vendor management, and cross-module reporting accuracy.
Updates to enhance the granularity of production and safeguard data integrity were also made.
Let’s look into the major changes and advancements made in our ERP software in the third month of 2026.
What Are the Major Updates of March in KnitOne?
Below, you can find a brief explanation of the most significant steps taken on different modules along with their operational necessity and impacts.
1. Intelligent Style Replication and Identification
When using the “Create From Existing” feature, the system now replicates all critical associated files, including Program Files, Setup Files, Costing Sheets, Sampling Processing Reports, and Graded Drafts/Linking.
Additionally, a new Style ID sequence column has been added to the Manage Styles list to allow for better record searching.

Impacts:
- Eliminates manual file re-uploads, reducing the risk of using outdated production specs.
- Speeds up the style onboarding process through automated data inheritance.
2. Streamlined Order and Costing Integration
In the knitting orders section, the Total (without Balance Qty)” field was removed. For better readability, visual lines were added to separate order, issue, and return quantities.
In this very section, yarn composition data is made compulsory, while the facility to categorize quantity type by: Order Qty, Issue Qty, Return Qty is enabled.
In the order management module, each order’s detailed view is available, where a search filter for Style ID is also added.
Also, the costing is made to connect automatically with an order when the order gets locked.
Impacts:
- Provides real-time visibility into the profitability of active orders.
- Ensures that cost implications are reviewed before production.
- Prevents production locking without verified financial benchmarks.
3. Enhanced Vendor Governance and Contact Management
A vendor code field is applied in both the vendor details and when a new vendor is added. Also, the editing of basic and contact details of vendors (for both export and domestic) is now available.
Impacts:
- Standardizes vendor identification across the ERP.
- Allows dynamic updates to vendor information without needing to restart the approval workflow.
4. Strengthened Production Planning and Readiness
The PPC Job section has been updated; branch-wise production planning is enabled.
Production planning is made mandatory for any knitting order to actually proceed, i.e. execute.
Impacts:
- Improves planning accountability by separating planned and unplanned orders.
- Prevents the informal knitting process in the factory
5. Granular Shipping and Sales Accuracy
Details such as Packaging Order ID and Order ID are now visible in the ‘Carton Selection’ section of both New and Edit Sales Invoice pages.
Additionally, a Grand Total row was included to display the total quantity across all sizes on the form page.
Impacts:
- Improves the accuracy of logistics and outbound shipping documentation.
- Provides warehouse managers with instant totals for bulk stock requests.
Other Important Tasks Performed
- Name Match Validation was implemented to warn users if a new inventory item name matches an existing one by 80%, preventing duplicate entries.
- Fixed issues in the daily Bulk Report, MUP, FIN, and PACK and mismatch in knit rate data.
- Conducted a comprehensive clean-up of open line items in main orders, knit orders, indents, and costing to resolve legacy data mismatches.
Bug Fixes & Stability Improvements
This month, our team resolved 45 critical bugs to ensure the system stays efficient, and offers a better user experience:
- Dashboard Visuals: Resolved an issue where “Target vs. Actual Runtime” values appeared as “undefined” when hovering over previous months.
- Gauge Filters: Fixed the issue of the filter not being applied when selecting a gauge from the gauge filter.
- Sample Tag Precision: Fixed a bug where the lowest percentage of composition and color were displayed at the top of tags; they are now correctly ordered.
- PPC Consistency: Merged DS (Day Shift) and NS (Night Shift) rows in the Total Qty/Day row for both the UI and Excel exports in the PPC Overview.
- Filter Reliability: Fixed search filters for Clients, Compositions, and Gauges in the Wastage Report that were failing to return results.
- Reporting Permission Fixes: Re-mapped and audited permissions for machine efficiency and yarn stock reports to ensure data visibility aligns with user roles.
These updates focus on making knitwear operations more accurate, connected, and reliable. With continued progress like this, KnitOne is certain to stay as the best ERP for knitwear manufacturing.
